Résumé: | Power transformers are critical components in the electrical power industry, and their proper functioning is crucial for the efficie nta ndreliab leoperati on oft hepower grid. To ensure the optimal performance and safety of power transformers, it is important to conduct both basic and advanced tests.
This thesis provides an overview of the basic tests that are commonly performed on power transformers, including transformer turns ratio test, insulation resistance test and tan delta (TD) testing. These tests are essential for assessing the basic parameters of the transformer and ensuring that it is functioning within the expected range. In addition to basic tests, advanced tests are also performed to assess the performance of power transformers under more demanding conditions. These tests include sweep frequency response analysis (SFRA), partial discharge (PD) measurement, and Oil DGA test. These tests provide more detailed information on the condition of the transformer and can help to identify potential problems before they cause major failures.
The thesis also discusses the importance of proper interpretation of the test results, which requires a thorough understanding of the transformer design and operation. It highlights the need for skilled technicians and engineers to conduct the tests and analyze the results accurately.
In conclusion, this thesis emphasizes the importance of both basic and advanced tests for power transformers to ensure their proper functioning and prevent failures. The paper recommends that regular testing and maintenance should be performed on power transformers to prolong their service life and ensure the reliability of the power grid. |
