Résumé: This work proposes a novel quad-band microstrip patch antenna for wireless local area network (WLAN), worldwide interoperability for microwave access (WiMAX), C and X applications. It is composed of a modified rectangular patch antenna and two parasitic elements which are both printed on one side of a FR4 substrate, a ground plane on other side on which a U-shaped slot is etched. The proposed antenna, with a total size of 31×33 mm 2 , is fabricated and experimental results illustrate that the -10 dB impedance bandwidth can completely cover the 4.4-4.58 GHz, 5.4-5.6 GHz, 7.2-8.3 GHz and 9.6-10.3 GHz, applications. The simulation results are in good agreement with the measurement ones
