Résumé: The rapid growth of electric motor-driven systems has led to an increasing demand for high-performance control strategies that provide efficient and precise operation. Model Predictive Control (MPC) and Direct Torque Control (DTC) have gained significant attention due to their ability to provide fast and accurate control in various industrial applications. The primary objective of this work is to analyze and implement Model Predictive Torque Control (MPTC) for a three-phase induction machine powered by a Four- Switch Three-Phase (FSTP) inverter. The investigation begins with a review of the state-of-the-art on the FSTP inverter and predictive control, highlighting various applications of predictive control. Subsequently, Model Predictive Current Control (MPCC) and MPTC are employed to control an RL-load and an induction machine, respectively, both driven by the FSTP inverter. This work presents a comparative analysis between MPTC and Direct Torque Control (DTC) methods. Simulation of these techniques were then carried out using MATLAB/Simulink software and the obtained results analyzed and discussed to confirm the validity of the proposed techniques.
