Résumé: The aims of this paper are the diagnosis and the mitigation of the corrosion induced by the HVPTL onto the buried pipelines. To do this, firstly the magnetic field and the induced alternating current density onto the buried pipeline were calculated. Then, the effect of the alternating current densities induced onto the pipeline was characterized by the electrochemical measurements. The obtained results were shown that the induction caused by the high voltage power lines (HVPTL) affects the electrochemical character of the buried pipeline and accelerate their corrosion. However, one technical solution was proposed to mitigate the pipelines from alternating corrosion
