Résumé: Methane concentration in the atmosphere has critically increased recently, its account for about 50% of the greenhouse gases (GHG) emissions. Increasing environmental concern and global warming have made it become an imminent consideration. The energy sector is the second largest contributor to methane emissions. The emissions of natural gas from gas transportation pipeline are an important factor for global warming. For this article we try find a way for preventing of waste this source because of economical aspect and environmental problems. First we calculate the volume of gas venting from pipeline and then get quantity of money value of this gas then we suggest a mobile compressor for saving this gas. Pipeline pump-down technique with portable compressor solution instead of venting will mainly allow 54.873 million m3 gases saving, which costs about 11.628 million USD and benefits justified purchase of 4 portable compressors
